My name is Fiona,

and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

(which is really just a fancy way of saying I’m a therapist)

My counseling approach is holistic, emotion focused, and informed through an attachment-based perspective, where relationship building, communication, and emotional expression lie at the foundation. I believe in creating an environment where you can feel safe and comfortable in sharing, exploring, and finding yourself, while providing you with ongoing support and guidance to work towards your goals and desired change. Throughout my work, I consider all aspects of life to be important, worthy, and influential to your journey towards growth, as we are all shaped by so much in our environments, relationships, and culture. This is what makes us who we are.

As a therapist I hold a safe and compassionate space for each client, so that you feel held and supported in a way that allows you to create your own profound transformation. All people are capable of change.

Through my Education I received a Master's degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Washington.

My previous occupations have included community mental health centers, non-profits, schools, clinical day treatment centers, and national crisis support centers. I’ve worked with a range of clients presenting with various experiences, ages, and symptoms relating to anxiety, worry, depression, trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, eating disorders, self-esteem, behavioral concerns, school and academic stress, adjusting to change, family conflict, relationship issues, divorce/ separation, etc.
